The talented filly owned by Lael Stables, trained by Cherie DeVaux, and ridden by John Velazquez, extended her winning streak to four with a decisive outside move around the far turn, defeating longshot Beach Bomb by half a length in 2:00.76 over yielding turf at 1 3/16 miles. “She’s a pro and showed that today,” DeVaux said, acknowledging the filly’s dislike for the soft surface. Bred in Kentucky by Payson Stud and sired by Karakontie, She Feels Pretty has proven herself over a range of distances and now sets her sights on the Diana Stakes (G1T) in July. Unbeaten in four starts with blinkers, she owns a 7-1-2 record in 10 starts and has emerged as one of the top turf fillies in North America.
